Charles A. Orr

Charles A. Orr, another widely known and
highly esteemed comrade has answered
the last roll call.
He was born in 1848 and when but sixteen
years of age, enlisted in the 187th New York
Volunteers.
Comrade Orr was pension agent for the
Government in Buffalo for fourteen years,
retiring in 1913 when the branch offices were
abolished and a central bureau established in
Washington D.C.

Comrade Orr was Commander of Chapin Post
No. 2 of Buffalo for twenty-one years.
