George W. Flynn

George Flynn was born February 20, 1846 in
Bennington, County of Wyoming, New York.
He resided in Buffalo, NY where he made his
living as a bookkeeper.
He enlisted November 24, 1861 as a Private in
Company F, 85th New York Volunteers. He was
discharged July 15, 1865.
He was mustered into the GAR on October 1, 1869 and was elected NY Dept. Commander,
GAR, in 1927 but died in office.
