1. It is with great sadness and profound
regret that I announce the passing of
Past Department Commander Bertram Isaacs, who answered his last roll call
on 24 May 2002.
2. Brother Isaacs joined Oliver Tilden
Camp No. 26 on 20 May 1925, serving the
Order for 77 years. He was elected New York Department Secretary in
1953,
and served in that office until 1974. In recognition of this service, in 1968 he
was given the rank of Honorary Past Department Commander.
3. I hereby charge all Camp Commanders to
drape Camp Charters in his honor
for a period of 30 days.
