1. At the May 3, 2014, 131st New York Department Encampment, SUVCW held in Rochester, New York, a vote was passed by the membership to increase the New York Department, SUVCW yearly per capita dues from $4.00 to $6.00.
   
   
2. All New York Department camp Secretaries must apply the new per capita dues amount to their “Camp Status Reports” and yearly “Camp Annual Reports”. In addition, don't forget to apply the pro-rated dues amount to all new camp members that join our department throughout the year. Camp Commanders, please make sure all camp reports are sent out in a timely manner. This will help keep the department’s records up to date and in order.
   
   
3. By the vote passed by the membership at the 131st New York Department Encampment, SUVCW, the new per capita dues for the New York Department, SUVCW is now $6.00.
   
   
4. On May 7, 2014, I issued Department Order #1, I reappointed Donald G. Zeilman as the Department Signals Officer and the Editor of the Department Newsletter "The Volunteer". The Newsletter will be published on the Department Website on or about August 1, on or about December 1, on or about April 1 in accordance to the Department Bylaws. Editor Donald G. Zeilman is in the process of publishing the summer 2014 issue of “The Volunteer”. Please send him your camp newsletters, stories, photos, camp activities or news articles that can be used for the newsletter. His email address is dgzeilman@gmail.com.
