1. A persistent problem in our Department is the submitting of reports that are either late or incorrect, or both. The Department Annual Report is to be filed by May 31st. The Department Secretary can not meet this deadline if Camps fail to file their reports on time.
This problem is not unique to the New York Department. Hoping to avoid extreme measures taken by other Departments, the following action has been chosen:
On Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the place of and prior to the Department Mid-Winter Officers Meeting, the Department's elected Officers will conduct a class on Camp Reports and other subjects they may deem necessary.
It is STRONGLY urged that all Camp Commanders and Secretaries attend.
